66KIF IN CONCERTO
I 66Kif sono una band tunisina/italiana formatasi a Roma nel 2018.
Attingendo dal patrimonio musicale del Mediterraneo, la band mescola jazz, rap, blues del deserto, rock, trip-hop ed elettronica per creare un\’esperienza musicale nuova.
I testi delle canzoni raccontano la vita dei giovani tunisini, tra la repressione della polizia prima e dopo la rivoluzione del 2011, il desiderio di giustizia sociale, i tentativi di scappare dal paese in cerca di un futuro migliore e la condizione emotiva di chi è emigrato e vive in Europa.
I 66Kif hanno vinto la borsa \”Artist Support Grant\” 2020 dell\’AFAC – Arab Fund for Arts and Culture e stanno al momento lavorando alla pubblicazione del loro primo album, dal titolo \”Hareb\”.

66Kif is a Tunisian-Italian band formed in Rome in 2018.
Digging into the rich Mediterranean cultural heritage, 66Kif blends jazz, rap, desert blues, rock, trip-hop and electronic into a new musical experience.
The lyrics tell about the life of Tunisian youth: the police oppression before and after the 2011 revolution, the desire for social justice, the attempts to flee the country to seek for a better future, the feelings of expats who live in Europe.
66Kif won the 2020 Artist Support Grant from AFAC – The Arab Fund for Arts and Culture and is currently working on the release of its first album, \”Hareb\”.
