𝟐𝟏:𝟎𝟎 𝐃𝐎𝐂 # 𝐅𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐇
𝙀𝙏𝙍𝙀 𝘾𝙃𝙀𝙑𝘼𝙇 – Jérome Clément-Wilz (63\’, France, 2015)
We present again the winning documentary of the 2017 edition, the first of HPFF. The story tells the portrait of Karen Chessman, a transgender lover of \”pony play\”, a practice that consists in adopting clothing and behaviors similar to the role of a horse. A film of great poetry, where life and dreams merge and the boundaries between genres and species are canceled out in the immensity of nature.

Riproponiamo il documentario vincitore dell\’edizione 2017, la prima di HPFF. La storia presenta il ritratto di Karen Chessman, transgender amante del “pony play”, pratica che consiste nell’adottare un abbigliamento e comportamenti vicini al ruolo di un cavallo. Un film di grande poesia, dove vita e sogno si fondono e i confini tra generi e specie si annullano nell’immensità della natura.

The protagonists of these two films are people with and without disabilities and they inspire us to intensely explore our desires and those of others. They do this by talking openly about their sexuality and sharing it in front of the camera. Army of Love questions romantic conventions, and Nexos proposes new paths to live the passion, away from social norms, in an autonomous way.

I protagonisti di questi due film sono persone con e senza disabilità e ci ispirano ad esplorare intensamente i nostri desideri quelli altrui. Lo fanno parlando apertamente della loro sessualità e condividendolo davanti alla telecamera. Army of Love interroga le convenzioni romantiche, mentre Nexos propone nuovi percorsi per vivere la passione, lontano dalle norme sociali, in modo autonomo.

Back in the city after ten years, Gustavo finds a landscape marred by building speculation. Together with a group of friends, he decides to fill the empty geometries of an unrecognizable city with low proletarian fxcks.

Tornato in città dopo dieci anni, Gustavo trova un paesaggio deturpato dalla speculazione edilizia. Assieme ad un gruppo di amici, decide di riempire di scxpate basso proletarie le vuote geometrie di una città irriconoscibile.

In 2017 HPFF presented, for the first time in Italy, a solo show on Antonio Da Silva, a Portuguese cult director, who combines performative language with video art and cinema. For years he has been working on issues related to homosexuality, cruising and public sex as an act of subversion from social control over our bodies. We will be able to review the following works:

Nel 2017 HPFF ha presentato, per la prima volta in Italia, una personale su Antonio Da Silva, regista cult portoghese, che unisce il linguaggio performativo alla video arte e al cinema. Da anni lavora su temi legati all’omosessualità, al cruising e al sesso pubblico come atto di sovversione dal controllo sociale sui nostri corpi.
