We inaugurate with Clara Gassull and Israel Ariño a series of initiatives that will take the form of ad hoc commissions, workshops and talks devoted to this theme.
Circular books, or how to give new life to publications that, for one reason or another, have been ruined by time or have lost some of their initial value.
In an age of greenwashing and economic speculation that naturally involves the publishing world as well, we wonder how to save, or if you prefer recycle all those publications that have suffered accidents, have ruined covers, poorly printed parts, have become partly moldy, or simply become victims of the world of sales for all sorts of reasons.
Clara and Israel will work on Israel\’s artist\’s book, Atlas, which was the victim of a surprise attack by the mold hiding behind a wall in Leporello.
The result of their work, which will be developed uring ther days in Roma, will be on display in Leporello for the duration of the exhibition, and who knows? Maybe sold…

Inauguriamo con Clara Gassull and Israel Ariño una serie di iniziative che prenderanno la forma di commissioni ad hoc, workshop e incontri dedicati a questo tema.
Circular books, ovvero come da nuova vita a pubblicazioni che, per una ragione o l’altra, sono state rovinate dal tempo o hanno perso una parte del loro valore iniziale.
In un’epoca di greenwashing e di speculazioni economiche che naturalmente coinvolgono anche il mondo dell’editoria, ci chiediamo come salvare, o se preferite riciclare tutte quelle pubblicazioni che hanno subito incidenti, hanno copertine rovinate, parti stampate male, si sono in parte ammuffite o semplicemente diventano vittime del mondo dei saldi per le più disparate ragioni.
Clara e Israel lavoreranno sul libro d’artista di Israel, Atlas, vittima di un attacco a sorpresa della muffa che si nascondeva dietro una parete di Leporello.
Il risultato del loro lavoro, che si svilupperà durante la loro permanenza a Roma, verrà esposto da Leporello per tutta la durata della mostra, e chissà? Magari anche venduto…
